GOING FOR THE SUMMIT
Spring time has suddenly arrived in Alaska with temperatures above 0°F ( -18°C) which Alaskans refer to as "balmy". It posed a great opportunity to capture the Northern Lights from Eagle Summit on March 26-27, 2012.
Around 2:25 am I was surprised by a major outburst of activity with one of the best displays of the past two weeks.

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
